This bread turned out great. It has become one of my families favorites. It can be baked in the ceramic baker (as described in the recipe), free form or in a loaf pan. I used a loaf pan and made dozens of them to give as Christmas gifts. When using the loaf pan, I preheated the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and baked the loaves for 35 minutes. I also put a cupful of ice cubes in the oven on a baking tray at the beginning of baking. This helps give you a great crust.
